How it looks at the bottom of an email. Updates as you type.
Hi Sam,
Thanks for the call today. The notes are below, and I will send the proposal by Thursday.
Best,
- Gmail: Settings, See all settings, General, Signature, Create new. Paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V, then Save changes at the bottom.
- Outlook: Settings, Mail, Compose and reply (Accounts, Signatures in the new Outlook). Paste into the editor and save.
- Apple Mail: Settings, Signatures. Paste into the right-hand pane.
Use the same signature in your cold email.
In FoxReach every connected inbox keeps its own signature, added to each campaign email with {{signature}}, and every inbox is warmed up before it sends.
Why most pasted signatures break.
Mail clients throw away most of a web page when you paste it. Stylesheets, classes, flexbox and web fonts are dropped, so a signature designed in a website builder arrives as a stack of unstyled lines.
What survives is old-fashioned HTML: a table, styles written inline on every element, and fonts every computer has. This generator writes exactly that. Links are only added when they are real web addresses, and everything you type is escaped, so a stray character cannot break the layout.
A signature for cold email.
In a cold email the signature does one job: it proves a real person at a real company wrote it. A reader who has never heard of you looks at it to decide whether to trust the rest.
- Name, title and company. The three things a reader checks first.
- One website. The place they go to check you out. Make it your company site, not a booking link.
- A phone number if you take calls. Leave it out if you do not.
- One or two social links at most. LinkedIn is the one people use to check a sender.
- No banners, quotes or long disclaimers. Extra images and links add weight and read like marketing.
Using it in FoxReach.
Each inbox you connect to FoxReach has its own signature. Click Copy signature here, paste it into the inbox's signature field, and add {{signature}} to your sequence steps. Every campaign email then signs off with the signature of the inbox that sent it, even when a campaign rotates across many inboxes. Colors and text sizes show when the email is sent as HTML; a plain-text email carries the same lines without styling.

Questions,

Click Copy signature, then in Gmail open Settings, See all settings, General, and scroll to Signature. Click Create new, paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V, and click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Yes. The signature is built as one table with inline styles and web-safe fonts, which is what Outlook, Gmail and Apple Mail keep when a signature is pasted. Rounded photo corners are the one thing older Outlook versions show square.
The photo has to be an image already hosted on the web, at an address that starts with https://. Mail clients load it from that address, so a file on your computer will not work. Many cold emailers leave the photo out: a signature with no images keeps the email lighter.
Yes. A real name, title, company and website tell the reader a person wrote the email, and give them a way to check you before they reply. Keep it short: a long signature with banners and many links reads like marketing.
Some tools and email platforms take a signature as HTML source. Copy HTML copies that source for an HTML signature field or a template. Copy signature copies the formatted version for Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and rich-text signature fields such as the one in FoxReach.
No. The signature is built in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored.
Signed, sealed,
delivered.
FoxReach adds each inbox's signature to every campaign email, warms the inboxes up and rotates the campaign across them.
