Q&A
Real questions, straight answers
The questions people actually ask us, from support, the community, and teams comparing tools. If the honest answer is "that is planned but not shipped", that is what it says.
Getting started
What is FoxReach?
FoxReach is a cold email platform for sending outreach that lands in the inbox. You connect your own email accounts, import your contacts from a CSV, and send sequences from one place. Warmup, inbox rotation, and deliverability monitoring are built in, so you don't need a separate tool to stay out of spam.
Which email providers can I connect?
Gmail, Outlook, or any provider that supports SMTP and IMAP. You connect the sending accounts you already own, and built-in warmup is available for every account you connect.
Do I need technical skills to set it up?
No. Connect an account, import a CSV, and launch. Setup takes minutes and needs no code. There is also an API, SDKs, an MCP server, and a CLI if you want to automate, but nothing about getting started requires them.
Does Fenn, the AI assistant, run outreach for me?
No. Fenn is a co-pilot that assists you. It helps you build campaigns, drafts sequences you edit and approve, sorts incoming replies, and flags what to improve. You decide what gets sent, what changes, and when. Fenn asks for your approval before any action that changes your data.
Deliverability and warmup
How do warmup daily limits work?
Each connected account has its own daily warmup limit that you can set, and new accounts ramp up gradually instead of starting at full volume.
Why do I see warmup emails in my mailbox?
Warmup works by exchanging real emails between accounts that are also warming up, which builds a natural sending history. Those messages live in the mailbox like any other mail. The FoxReach inbox filters them out so your reply view stays clean, and filing them under a hidden label in your mail provider is planned on the roadmap.
What happens if my list starts bouncing heavily?
The campaign pauses itself and you get an email letting you know. This protects your sender reputation from a bad list. Clean the list, then resume the campaign when you are ready.
Do I need a separate warmup tool?
No. Warmup is included on every plan, including Free, and you can turn it on for any account you connect. It is part of the platform, not an add-on.
Pricing and plans
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades charge the prorated difference and apply right away. Downgrades, including dropping to Free, happen right from the billing tab and take effect at the end of your billing period. You can cancel a scheduled downgrade before then.
Do you offer annual discounts?
Yes, annual billing saves you 20% compared to monthly billing. For example, the Starter plan is $27/month billed annually instead of $34/month.
What happens if I go over my plan limits?
You get a notification when you approach your limits. Once a limit is reached, sending or adding contacts pauses until you upgrade or your next billing cycle starts. Nothing is deleted.
What happens if my subscription payment fails?
You keep your full plan limits for two weeks while the card is retried, and we email you so you can fix the payment method. Access only drops if the retries run out.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 200 contacts, 500 emails a month, unlimited email accounts, built-in warmup, and access to the MCP server. No card required.
Lifetime deal
Is the lifetime deal really lifetime?
Yes. You pay once and the plan you buy stays yours. There is no monthly bill, no annual renewal, and no expiry date. You also get every future update to that plan at no extra cost. New plans or separately priced products released later are not part of it.
What is the refund policy on the lifetime deal?
Every purchase has a 30 day money back guarantee. If FoxReach is not right for you, email support@foxreach.io within 30 days of your purchase and we refund what you paid, less the payment processing fee the payment processor keeps.
Can I transfer or stack lifetime licenses?
Transfers yes: email support@foxreach.io and we reassign the license to the new owner. Stacking no: each license is its own FoxReach account with its own limits, and licenses cannot be combined into one account.
How do I use a discount code on the lifetime deal?
Enter the code at checkout on the lifetime page, or use a partner link that has the code built in (it looks like /lifetime?coupon=CODE). The price updates before you pay.
Connecting AI tools
How do I connect Claude to FoxReach?
In Claude Desktop, go to Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the URL https://api.foxreach.io/mcp. A browser window opens for Google sign-in. Use the same email as your FoxReach account. Cursor and Claude Code connect to the same URL. There is no API key to paste.
Why does my AI client connect but every tool call fails?
Almost always because the Google account you signed in with does not match your FoxReach email. Any Google account can complete sign-in, but tools only work when the email matches. Remove the connection and reconnect with the right account.
What is the difference between the MCP server and the Claude Code plugin?
The MCP server is hosted, needs no install, and gives any MCP client, like Claude Desktop or Cursor, tools to manage your leads, campaigns, and inbox in conversation. The Claude Code plugin adds slash commands and workspace context inside coding sessions. Many people use both.
Account
How do I delete my account?
From Settings. You type a confirmation first, and the page shows exactly what will be removed and what is kept before you confirm.
How do I request a feature or vote on one?
Sign in to FoxReach, then use the Suggest Features button on the roadmap page. Suggestions go to the team and onto the public board, and you can vote on other ideas with one vote per person per idea.
