Re: Quick question about Northstar AI

Yes, this is interesting. We are currently using Instantly and HubSpot, but the inbox side is still messy.

Draft:Thanks, Alex. The inbox consolidation piece is exactly where most teams feel friction. Happy to show how we route replies, categorize them, and draft responses inside one workspace. Would Tuesday or Wednesday work for a 20 minute walkthrough?

Use AISend

All accounts, one list

Send from five inboxes and read every reply in one place, each one matched to the lead and the campaign step that produced it.

Sorted by what it says

AI files each reply as interested, not interested, out of office or bounced, and flags intents like wants a call, mentions pricing or wrong person.

Reply from the same inbox

Load the drafted answer, edit it, send. It goes out through the account that received the message, so the prospect sees one normal thread.

Filters

Start where the money is.

Filter chips count what is waiting in each category. Click Interested and the list narrows to real people who want to keep talking. Board view lays the same replies out as columns you can drag between; Triage shows one at a time with a decision rail.

  • All, Unread, Interested, Not Int., OOO, Bounced, Starred and Sent
  • Counts follow the account, search and date range you have set
  • J and K move through the list, E and X correct a category, S stars
Context

The whole thread, with the lead beside it.

Open a reply and the pane shows the contact bar, then four cards for the lead, the campaign, team notes and recent activity, then the conversation in order with long quoted chains collapsed.

  • View lead and View campaign links one click away
  • Internal notes visible to the workspace, never to the prospect
  • Up to three intent chips read from the reply itself
Drafts

A draft is waiting when you get there.

When a reply is matched to a lead, FoxReach writes a response from the campaign context, the lead’s details and the last few messages in both directions. Use AI loads it, you change a sentence, Cmd or Ctrl plus Enter sends.

  • No drafts for bounces, out of office replies or opt-outs
  • Reply macros insert a saved answer at the cursor
  • Draft a reply with Fenn starts a fresh one from the whole conversation

Up and running in three steps.

1

Connect your sending accounts

Every connected account is checked for new mail about every five minutes. A reply to a campaign send is matched to the lead, categorized and drafted, then appears at the top of the list.

2

Work Interested, then Unread

Open Inbox and click Interested. Press J to move down the list, E or X when the AI got a category wrong, S to star anything that needs a follow-up you cannot do today.

3

Load the draft and send

Click Use AI, change what needs changing, press Cmd or Ctrl plus Enter. The reply leaves through the inbox that received the message and is logged against the lead and the campaign.

Questions,
answered.

FoxReach checks each connected account for new mail about every five minutes and reads up to 50 new messages per account per check. A reply that arrives just after a check waits for the next one, so allow up to five or six minutes. Once found, it is matched, categorized and drafted in the background and appears at the top of the list.

Yes. A reply goes out through the account that received the original message, with Re prefixed to the subject and your signature variables filled in, and is logged against the lead and the campaign. There is no sender picker. Replies count against your plan’s monthly email limit, and FoxReach refuses to send to a lead who has unsubscribed, even from here.

The category changes right away and the thread moves to the matching filter and Board column, with an undo toast for a few seconds before it saves. A matched reply already stopped the lead’s follow-ups. An out of office auto-reply is the one category that keeps the sequence going, so correcting a real answer away from OOO stops it. Marking a reply as an unsubscribe suppresses the lead and cancels every queued send across all campaigns.

No. Drafts are skipped on purpose for bounces, out of office replies and opt-out requests. For everything else the draft is generated a few seconds after the reply is matched to a lead. If your plan has run out of AI credits, replies still arrive and get categorized, but the Draft line stays empty.

The two common causes are a disconnected or errored email account, which is not polled until you reconnect it, and mail from an address that matches none of your leads, which is filed as unrelated and kept out of the default view so other people’s cold email does not pollute your Interested filter.
