Email blacklist checker, five lists at once.
Enter a domain or the IP you send from. In a few seconds you see whether any of five public email blocklists lists it, which addresses were checked, and where to request removal.
What a blacklist actually is.
A blacklist (or blocklist, or DNSBL) is a public list of IP addresses or domains that recently sent spam. Mail servers look up the sender in the lists they trust while the email arrives, and reject it or file it as spam on a match.
The lookup is a plain DNS query, which is exactly what this checker does: for a domain it finds the addresses of the mail servers (its MX records) and the website, then asks each list about each address, and asks the domain list about the name itself.
Why cold emailers get listed.
- Bounces. An unverified list full of dead addresses hits spam traps, the addresses lists use to catch careless senders.
- Volume jumps. A new inbox that goes from nothing to hundreds a day looks like a hijacked account. Our sending calculator shows a safe ramp.
- Complaints. People marking the email as spam, often because it reads like a blast. The spam checker catches the usual reasons.
- A compromised account or open form sending spam you did not write.
How to read the result.
Not listed means the list answered and does not list that address or domain. Listed names the address and links the list's own removal page. Could not check means the list refused or did not answer; we test every list with its documented test entry first, and if it cannot report that correctly we do not trust it to say clean.
A clean result on these lists is good news, not a guarantee of the inbox. Gmail and Outlook mostly judge senders on their own data: authentication, complaints and engagement. Check the domain's records with the SPF, DKIM and DMARC checker too.

Questions,
answered.
Four IP lists (SpamCop, Barracuda, PSBL and UCEPROTECT Level 1) and one domain list (SURBL). A domain is checked by the addresses of its mail servers and website on the IP lists, and by name on the domain list.
Spamhaus allows free use of its public lookups for non-commercial use only, and FoxReach is a company, so we do not query it from this tool. Check it on the Spamhaus website directly.
The list did not answer, or did not answer our test lookup correctly. Several lists refuse lookups from large cloud networks. We never report a list that did not answer as clean, so "Could not check" says nothing either way. Try again later or check that list on its own site.
The provider's. Their mail servers are shared by many customers and are rarely listed; if one is, the provider handles removal. A listing that matters to you is usually on your own domain, or on a server or IP you send from yourself.
Find and stop the cause first: a hacked account or form, a purchased or stale list with many bounces, or a sudden jump in volume. Then use the removal page linked next to the listing. Most lists also expire a listing on their own once the spam stops.
No. The check is a set of DNS lookups. We log only the outcome (how many lists listed it), never the domain or IP you entered.

the lists.
FoxReach warms up every inbox, holds each to a safe daily limit, rotates the campaign across them and verifies your leads before they are emailed.
