> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://www.foxreach.io/docs/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Refer & Earn, the FoxReach affiliate program > How to apply to the FoxReach affiliate program from your account, what your referral link does while your application is reviewed, how commission accrues and gets paid, and where to see all of it. FoxReach has one referral program. You share a link, customers who sign up through it get a discount, and you earn a share of every payment they make for the length of your commission window. Anyone with a FoxReach account can apply, from inside the app, and you do not need a paid plan. ## Applying Open Settings and click **Refer & Earn**. If you have not applied yet, the page explains the program and shows a short application: where you will promote FoxReach, roughly how big your audience is, a link to it, and anything else you want us to know. Only the first field is required. The email that approves you carries your terms: your commission rate, how long your commission window runs from each customer's first payment, the discount your referrals get, and how long your tracking cookie lasts. Terms are set per partner, so they are not published on the website. ## While your application is reviewed As soon as you apply, the tab shows your code and your personal link, with Copy Link and share buttons for X and LinkedIn. The link already works: anyone who opens it and then creates an account is attributed to you, and if they pay, commission accrues on that payment. Commission earned while you are under review is held and becomes payable once you are approved, and your referrals only get their discount once your partner account is active. If we cannot approve your application, your link stops attributing and nothing is owed. ## Once you are approved The same tab becomes your partner dashboard: your terms, a field to customise the code in your link (old codes keep working), your clicks, sign-ups, and commission ledger, the customers you referred with the months left in each one's window, and payout setup. ### How commission accrues and gets paid * **Every payment counts.** Subscriptions earn commission on each invoice for as long as the customer stays, up to the end of your window. Lifetime deals earn once. * **Upgrades follow the customer.** If a referral moves to a bigger plan, your commission grows with their next payment. The window does not restart. * **30-day hold.** Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it was earned on, which covers refunds. After that it is payable. * **Payouts on request.** Connect a Stripe account from the dashboard, then request a payout once your payable balance is at least \$50. Our team approves each request and the money goes to your Stripe account. ### Changing your link code Under your terms, enter a new code of 3 to 32 lowercase letters, numbers or single hyphens. You can change it once every 24 hours, and every code you used before keeps attributing to you. ## Good to know * **Self-referrals do not count.** Your link will not attribute the account that owns it. * **One attribution per person.** A new customer is attributed to the partner whose link they used first, and existing users who open your link are not counted. * **The email footer carries your link.** On the free plan, the "Sent with FoxReach" line in your campaign emails links through your referral code once you have applied. * **Program rules.** The [affiliate terms](https://www.foxreach.io/affiliate-terms) cover what you may and may not do when promoting FoxReach, such as no paid ads on the FoxReach name and no coupon sites. ## Related guides * [Plans and billing](/docs/product/plans-and-billing) * [Workspaces and team](/docs/product/workspaces) ## Frequently asked questions No. A free FoxReach account is enough to apply, share your link and get paid. No. Attribution and commission work from the moment you apply. The commission is held until you are approved, then it follows the normal 30-day hold and becomes payable. It is in the approval email, and on your Refer & Earn tab once you are approved. Rates and windows are set per partner, so they are not listed on the website.
