# Resume Webhook

> Turn a paused webhook back on and reset its failure count.

<Note>
**Beta.** This endpoint is not live in production yet.
</Note>

A webhook is paused automatically after 10 consecutive failed deliveries: `isActive` becomes `false`, `pausedReason` is `consecutive_failures` and `pausedAt` is set. Fix your endpoint, then call this to start deliveries again. Events that happened while it was paused are not replayed.

## Path Parameters

<ParamField path="webhook_id" type="string" required>
  The unique identifier of the webhook.
</ParamField>

## Response

Returns the webhook in `data` with `isActive: true`, `consecutiveFailures: 0`, and `pausedAt` and `pausedReason` set to `null`. `404` if the webhook is not in this workspace.

<RequestExample>
```bash cURL
curl -X POST "https://api.foxreach.io/api/v1/webhooks/cwh_abc123/resume" \
  -H "X-API-Key: otr_your_key"
```
</RequestExample>

<ResponseExample>
```json
{
  "data": {
    "id": "cwh_abc123",
    "url": "https://example.com/webhooks/foxreach",
    "isActive": true,
    "events": ["*"],
    "consecutiveFailures": 0,
    "replyCategories": null,
    "pausedAt": null,
    "pausedReason": null
  }
}
```
</ResponseExample>

## Rate Limit

- **120 requests per minute, shared by every `write` call in your workspace.** Fixed 60-second window.
- Every response includes `X-RateLimit-Limit`, `X-RateLimit-Remaining`, `X-RateLimit-Reset` (unix epoch seconds) and `X-RateLimit-Bucket` (`write`).
- A `429` response includes a `Retry-After` header (seconds until the bucket resets).

For client-side patterns, see [Rate Limiting](/rate-limiting).
